Tasha & Girl makes the finest, cleanest all-fruit and no-synthetics fruit spreads to replace the synthetic jams and marmalades and all things unnatural from your breakfast table with the tastiest, cleanest substitutes instead.
Ingredients: Crushed Strawberries (57%), Unsulfated Cane Sugar, Apple Pulp (3%), Lime Juice (1%), & Nothing.
Strawberries from Panchgani-Mahabaleshwar, export-surplus unsulfated cane sugar from Kolhapur, a tiny bit of crush of unripe Himachali apples, a few drops of freshly squeezed Nagpuri lime juice, and absolutely nothing else.
Storage Instructions: Refrigerate after opening. These are delicate fruits. Best consumed at 14C/57F and within 8-10 weeks of opening. These are fresh fruit jams with NO added colours, flavours, or preservatives to maintain the kind of consistency you would get in a mass-manufactured product. They may change colour and consistency with time and exposure to light and heat. The spice tends to settle into the lower regions of the jar. The taste may change ever so slightly from batch to batch. But every jar of our jam is the creation of careful cooking with centuries-old recipes. There may be natural blemishes/distinctions that are not product flaws. Such variations are inherent in the manufacturing of our jams. Also, please note that while we have tried to accurately display the colours and size of our jam bottles, the actual colours you see will depend on your electronic screen’s settings and may not be accurate.
Usage Instructions: Use a clean dry spoon or knife. Avoid cross-contamination. NOT FOR DIABETICS. Contains sugar. If the label says Chilli or Pepper, do not give children.
Usage Suggestions: Pairs well with toast, bread, biscuits, cookies, in milkshakes, as ice-cream toppings, meat marinades, as mixes in dips with yoghurt/mayonnaise, with breakfast cereal/muesli, with spicy chaat, for infusion of white spirits, on waffles, in cakes, tarts, and as pie fillings, or simply as a treat by itself! Have fun with it.
