HAND WOVEN IKAT COTTON MASK

This mask is from one of our traditional Indian fabric ranges. It is a washable mask that can be used for 30 years. The fabric of this mask belongs to one of the quintessential Indian textile, the Ikat weaving art form. In the primitive era, Ikat was produced through a procedure of tying and binding on the canvas. This artwork trails back to the age when Silk Route was used in trading textiles, goods, and animals between the East and the West. This art form has a diverse legacy and heritage in different parts of India. The mask comes with adjustable earloops and a double-secured nose pin for a snug fit. The layout of this mask is designed in a manner to ensure complete facial coverage with paramount protection. The shape ensures that the mask is breathable yet secured at the same time. The design makes it easy to wear with low heat build-up thus enabling easy facial movements.

CARING YOUR AIRLIT MASK

*After every wear, wash your mask with mild detergent and make sure you do not bleach.
*The optimum water temperature for washing is 40°C.
*Be gentle with rubbing of the inner and outer layer. Rinse well and do not wring hard.
*Dry it on a flat surface where there is shade and avoid damp ambiance.
*Although this mask can be reused up to 30 washes normal wear and tear might be seen after 10 washes.
*Iron if required taking special caution of the elastic portion. Excessive heat might damage the in-lined filters.
