There are five broad categories of knowing the folk-art of Mithilanchal, India, Madhubani Painting, namely – Kachanai, Bharani, Godhna, Tantrik, and Khobar.

Chakra means wheel in Hindi. This painting shows how we all coexist in nature. The center has a flower and the flower is symbolic of fertility. You will notice a strange bird faced human towards the outer circle in the painting. This figure is typical of Godhna Madhubani painting. The coexistence of humans, flora, and fauna is what keeps life going and that needs to be respected.
